ALBUM REVIEW

The Internets fourth studio album, released July 20th, 2018, was long awaited after their last album "Ego Death"(2015), which was a huge success for the group.

Prior to the album release the band released three singles. "Roll","Come Over" and "La Di Da". Personally my favorite was "Come Over". It gives a great preview of what the entire album will sound like, and has a great rhythm and vibe. Each song was released with a music video. "Come Over" "Roll" and "La Di Da".

After the release of "Roll" , a well known DJ and producer named "Kaytranada" released a remix, which I personally like better than the original song . You can listen here.

Favorite songs

After listening to the album multiple times, I can conclude that my favorite songs are "Mood", "Next Time / Humble Pie", "Wanna Be" and "Hold On". These songs show a great view of every band members musical talents and skills. If you were a big fan of The Internets hit song , "Girl", I recommend you listen to these songs.

Overall Review

Overall, I think this album was well worth the wait. Syd's vocals and the bands musical talents work very well together, and I'm surprised this album isn't getting more recognition and hype. Overall I would give it a 7.5/10.

Fan Review

A fan writes "I really like the upbeat songs such as "La Di Da", along with the chill and ego death kind of vibe songs, such as "Mood". The whole album has a chill vibe that really identifies with the internet. I love it. Also, my favorite song on the album right now is "Gets Better (With Time)" because of Syd's vocals on the song." Overall rating 9/10.
